Use the Unlabored Flawlessness or the Dabilahro to kill the monsters (stay a little bit back and use triangle to power to maximum). When you get across the drawbridge there will be three purple monsters with big swords. In Chapter 12, when you have the Left Tablet and are heading back to put it in with the other two, you will go over the drawbridge. You can repeat this as needed for maximum yellow orbs. Use the Ninpo and simply stand there while the fish jump up and die on your fire shield, one after the other. Equip your "Art of the Fire Wheels" spell, and go to the top of the ramp you just climbed. Then, use the black floating panel next to the save point, which will refill your life and Ninpo.
If you run back and forth here, you can get endless amounts of essence, as the enemies, and the essence they carry, will never stop respawning as you go back and forth through the doorway.Īfter you reach the top of the tower in chapter eighteen (entitled The Core), save your game. This alley is a dead end, but enemies will spawn and constantly respawn on both sides of the door in the alley. At the last save point (before Rachael runs into the creepy guy), you will find a door which leads to an alleyway. Attempt this technique towards the end of the eighth mission if you’re in need of essence.
